Stretched in the endless blue of the Mediterranean, an island webs its way in banks and bands of sand and surf. Ibiza's sleepy next-door neighbor, this island is much easier and gentler, with a fonder appreciation for the slower tides of life. The water sparkles easy, gentle blue, a brilliant contrast to the stark and grainy sand. Across the island are towns with building painted white reflecting the harsh summer sun. Blue doors and blue windows providing a breathe of relief form the stagnant heat. Boats criss-cross the waves that swell around the island, beckoning those onshore to step into the water.

Life here is fresh and free, with the smell and taste of salt and citrus coloring the sensory experience. Fruits of the sea served irresistibly in the marigold shade. Sunset dinners at Juan y Andréa turn into late night happenings as champagne and rosé flow endlessly and the sounds of Spanish drums beat into the midnight sky. This island, Formentera, captured our hearts and is our newest love. We are happy to share it with you.
